What is the eligibility criteria for a business to apply?
The business receiving the Technology Makeover must be located within the boundaries of Simcoe County.
Can I apply for my branch office here in Simcoe County if my head office is somewhere else?
Yes, as long as your location is within Simcoe County and that is where the Technology Makeover will be executed.
Is there a restriction on number of employees that a business has to have in order to apply?
There is no minimum or maximum restriction.
Can I apply if my business is a Not For Profit organization?
Yes, Not for Profit organizations are eligible to enter the contest.
Can I exchange the products or services for another brand, product or service?
There is no exchange of products or services for the listed prize winnings.
Can I take cash instead of the products and/or services?
There is no redeemable cash value for the products and/or services listed in the prize winnings.
The application asks me to state my goals should I win. What do you mean?
If you were to win the contest and be given a Technology Makeover, what would your business be able to accomplish?
What would you be able to do that you could not do before you won?
What would the benefits be to your business?
Do the benefits extend beyond your business and into the community?
Can I submit video and/or photo with my submission?
Yes. You can submit videos, photos or other documents to support your statement of need, goals and benefits.
There is no requirement to submit additional material but if it strengthens your application you are free to submit them.
